From 2002 to 2008 MEZZO DI PASTA built a fast food network around Italian recipes, fresh pasta, sauces, stuffed pasta, foccacias, ciabattas, salads and pastries. Total sales reached €45m in 2011 with 128 restaurants, of which a majority of franchised restaurants. The company had an average annual growth rate of +67% until 2010.
ARTS ET BIENS invested in 2008 and 2010 through equity and debt in order to finance the company’s growth.
MEZZO DI PASTA was sold to BRIDGEPOINT DEVELOPMENT CAPITAL in 2011.
